Hackathon 3.0 Project - Overlaying maps with data from Splunk

Every day, Cayan amasses gigabytes of machine-generated data – data about our merchants, their transactions, what items they sold. For our hackathon project, our team wanted to add context to this raw data. Our goal was to help support our sales engineering colleagues to get useful, high level information at a glance by looking at a map. We wanted to give our users a way to view their merchants’ activity over time.
